Losing pounds, the marine way

Military WorkoutsJust read in a book for marine preparation. This one promises losing weight in no time. Haven’t tried it, yet, but it sounds very convincing.

Idea: Burn more calories than you take in.

Burning

  • 4 x 100 situps daily. For example, right in the morning, after lunch, while watching TV, afternoon 2 hours before sleep, etc.
    Total time needed: 8-20 minutes depending on your fitness level.
  • 4 x pushups. Same as above. You can do it right after/before the situps. You don’t need to do 100 pushups each time, but do your max. everytime. 50 would be great. If you can do more, go for it!

These two exercises train most of your upper and lower body muscles. While doing pushups you even train your abs. A great way to start in fitness and lose weight.

And dont forget:

  • Running! Wear a sweater. Do at least 5 x 30 minutes a week.

Calories intake rules:

The same rules as always:

  • 5 very small meals a day like oatbran, tuna, seeds, eggwhite, light salad, protein shakes, black beans, brown rice, veggies.
  • Drink only water or green tea/coffee with no sugar added.
  • A lot of water. If you don’t piss every 60-90 minutes you don’t get enough.

The most important is not to cheat. Make yourself a commitment and don’t look for excuses. No pain, no gain, soldier.
