Jeez. Today I went for my first run since 5 months. I didn’t gain much fat in all this time as I was (mostly) following an acceptable diet plan. But I started to feel “weak” in aerobic means. It even seemed harder to me to go up the stairs.
Besides, the weather got much better lately and as I don’t like jogging while its raining, there was no excuse for me this time.
It’s incredible how low my aerobic endurance dropped. Half a year ago I did my 3-4 miles without any problem. Today I almost died on the 2nd mile! I had the same story a year ago. Back then I recovered in less than 2 weeks. I hope it won’t be different this time.
Extra tip: Never eat right before running. Wait at least 1,5-2 hours or don’t eat much. But if you’re really hungry a liquid shake is the perfect solution ( banana + soy milk = mmmh!).
