As Wit said, we are on a trip again this weekend. I had to plan and prepare everything for it in the last 4 days. So sorry for not posting. I didnt even have time to prepare my food.

So here is a dessert recipe that tastes wonderful, is VERY healthy and can be prepared in 2 minutes.

What you need

    • 1 cup muesli
    • 1 apple
    • 1 125gr low-fat yoghurt

Cut the whole apple in little pieces. Add muesli and yoghurt on top. Mix it. Thats it! It tastes wonderful, sweet and has only 200-250kcal.

You can eat it between meals or even instead of the last meal before bed. In the hot spanish summer I like to put the yoghurt and the apple in the fridge so when I do this “mix” (call it whatever you want. Like: “Bodytweaker dessert” ;)) it is cold like an icecream!

    Enjoy it!

    Cost: around $0.40 a serving

It’s been a long time since we last posted. Just to keep you guys up to date:

The bodytweakers are preparing a camping trip for this weekend to the spanish “Ordesa” national park in the Pyrenees. We’re going to stay there for three days taking a route around the “Monte Perdido” (aka. The Lost Mountain).

Just look at this:

Looks like a lot of fun, eh? ;) The traveler’s kit to fitness may come in handy there.
Well, apart from that I’m preparing for my final exams. My table looks like this:

Well, I’ll post a whole bunch of photos when we come back (if we come back ;)  They don’t call it “The Lost Mountain” for no reason, huh?). Apart from that I’ve prepared some new workout articles to post one of these days. Keep the bodytweaking lifestyle strong!

U.S. death rate statistics for the year 2004 have (finally) arrived. It seems that the U.S. death rate went down to the lowest level ever recorded. It fell by 3.8% to 801 deaths per 100,000 citizens.

As a result life expectancy at birth rose from 77.5 years to a record 77.9 years !!

Experts say that this is due to improvements in the medical field. People get better treatments and it’s getting easier to prevent a set of different deseases to happen in the first place.

For example the mortality rate for heart deseases (the most important cause of death) fell 6.4% to 218 deaths per 100,000 citizens.

And still, life expectancy and risk of heart deseases could be improved far beyond these statistics if the American population improved its weight and lifestyle. Experts say that life expectancy of 85 years or more could be possible in the near future, if the people learned to be more health conscious and physically active.

Note: Bodytweakers live longer ;)
Cost: 0$ to lead a bodytweaking lifestyle and get beyond the average life expectancy
