I’ve started a deep endurance training today. Have been jogging in the city park. It’s been about 2.5 miles for the start, but we’re going for more next time.
3 times a week may be a little bit too much, but I see no other way to get into the right shape in just 2-3 months. As you may already know I’m planning to take part in the “Carros de Foc” competition. 137 miles in 24 hours. That may require more than just “good” shape.
Anyway, I must confess that I haven’t really done any targeted endurance/cardio training in the last year. So, those 2.5 miles have been a hard nut, well… I guess falling is the first step to learning how to fly, huh? I still feel the rush, hours after the training. But I like it. I think I’m going for 3-3.5 miles tomorrow or on wednesday.
Let your legs carry your body, and your heart carry your dreams. Step after step, mile after mile.
